Phynix Fire Studios began with a love of fragrance and the way scent can completely transform a space.
Candles had always been part of creating atmosphere—a source of warmth, calm, and ritual. But after the flame was gone, beautiful vessels were often left behind. Rather than discard them, our founder began refilling them. What started as curiosity became a craft, refined over time through experimentation, research, and countless hours of testing.
Then came a question that changed everything.
When someone close to our founder developed respiratory sensitivities and could no longer comfortably enjoy many conventional candles, we began looking more closely at what was actually being released into the spaces around us.
What exactly are we putting into the air around us?
That question changed everything.
We began studying waxes, fragrance materials, additives, burn performance, and the ingredients commonly used throughout home fragrance.
We believed there had to be a better way.
Years of research and formulation led to the development of our proprietary wax blend, along with a carefully curated fragrance library selected with performance, safety, and experience in mind.
But fragrance was never meant to stop at the candle.
Today, Phynix Fire Studios creates modern fragrance and ritual experiences for both space and self—from home fragrance and atmospheric scent to parfum, body, and bath.
Every product begins with the same intention: exceptional fragrance, thoughtful formulation, elevated design, and an experience made to linger.

Phynix Fire Studios was founded by Cicero McGee, a Minnesota-based creative, fragrance enthusiast, and lifelong believer in the power of atmosphere.
For Cicero, fragrance has never been simply about something smelling good. It is about what a scent can do—shift a mood, change the energy of a room, bring back a memory, or turn an ordinary moment into something worth remembering.
That philosophy shapes every part of Phynix Fire Studios.
From developing fragrance concepts and refining formulations to selecting vessels, packaging, and the smallest details of the experience, Cicero remains closely involved in how the brand is created and evolves.
His background in hospitality also shaped the vision for Phynix Fire: the belief that luxury is not defined by excess, but by how thoughtfully an experience makes someone feel.
What began at a worktable with repurposed vessels has grown into a modern fragrance and ritual house spanning home, body, bath, and personal fragrance—while remaining rooted in intentional craftsmanship and small-batch production.
For Cicero, the goal is simple:
Create fragrance that changes the way a space feels, elevates the rituals of everyday life, and leaves something behind long after the scent itself has faded.
